This dog/cat/pet (up to 45 pounds) bottom loading memorial/cremation urn is made from stunning black line spalted maple. It has been handpicked, precisely milled and built by me from the finest of hardwoods which I have previously used only on my high-end adult urns.

It measures 4" x 4" x 5 1/4" and weighs over 3/4 of a pound.

The urn body was cut from 1 piece of spalted maple and then book matched vertically and then cut. This allows each vertical side to be a near mirror image from top to bottom as well as the grain to flow popular smoothly around all 4 tightly mitered corners. The top is precisely routed with a "roundover" profile and is unique dark spalted maple

The removable bottom is book matched and is more typical spalted maple. The bottom sits snugly into the bottom (last 2 images). My logo has been branded into the bottom. Four nonslip pads have been attached to the bottom.

Screw holes have not been made yet. The urn will be accessed thru the bottom by removing the 2 high quality Phillips/square head screws. Screw heads will be precisely recessed into the bottom.

Outside is finished with an upgraded finish of several coats of wipe on gloss polyurethane and hand buffed to a satin sheen. Inside has been finely sanded.

This urn should be proudly displayed in the home as a memorial to your beloved pet. This urn is totally different from any other urn out there.
