Early 20th century Nigerian copper bracelet. Also known as manillas, this bracelet was used in West Africa as a form of currency or commodity money until the late 1940s. It has a beautiful patina consistent with age. Approximate weight is about 1 lbs. Custom museum popular style black iron stand is optional.
