Sleeping Beauty is the Queen of all Turquoise, and these stones are lovely examples of this highly collectible stone. The Sleeping Beauty mine (Arizona) has been closed since 2012, with no obvious expectations of reopening (it is now functioning solely for copper mining), thus is is very difficult to obtain and popular should only increase in value.
This design pairs a gorgeous shade of Sleeping Beauty with lemon chrysoprase (a pale chartreuse color) and fine silver spacers. The center chrysoprase stone is quite unique and makes a lovely focal point that does not distract from the Sleeping Beauty. The clasp is a convenient, fine silver hook, which fastens to fine silver chain, so it is adjustable. A small dangle with a Swarovski crystal butterfly and faceted bead add a charming finish to the chain.
