Antique T&V Limoges Open Sugar Bowl Hand Painted Stouffer Tiger Lily Victorian Shabby popular Cottage Chic.

This is a beautiful antique Victorian era hand painted porcelain open sugar bowl. The oval sugar bowl is elegantly molded with gently curved double handles and sits on a pedestal base. The dish was decorated at the famous Stouffer Studio where one of their master artists had skillfully painted a deep orange tiger lily against a matte cream background, and accented the piece with gilding along the rim edged with a thin black outline, with further gilding on the pedestal base and handles. It measures 5" long from handle to handle x 2.5" wide x 2.75" tall. Would be a lovely addition to your dining table or add it to your antique porcelain collection.

Has the green T&V Limoges back stamp for Tressemann & Vogt and the Souffer Studio mark. It is signed, it looks like a T...but the rest is illegible to me. Maybe you recognize it.

Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. Still one of my favorite pieces, I hope it finds a new home where it will continue to be cherished.
