Oak popular by the edge of the trail

This is an old friend of popular mine. I drew him in charcoal while standing along the side of a nature trail in Daniel Island South Carolina.
I am fascinated with these old oak trees found in the Southeastern US. They have so much personality.
I see this one every time I go for a walk on Daniel Island.
