VINTAGE MATTE BLACK "STUDIO POTTERY STONEWARE BOWL," UNSIGNED, 1950s - Early 1960s

This is one of several studio pottery pieces that was purchased over 30 years ago at an old Seattle Estate. The majority of the pieces acquired from this estate were Mid-Century to early 1960's studio pieces, some pieces were signed and others not. So, for your consideration, we are offering this beautiful vintage mid-century modern era "STUDIO POTTERY STONEWARE BOWL." This fabulous medium sized hand thrown pottery bowl has a very nice matte black glaze. The bowl has a small lip around the outside edge. It is 4 7/8” high x 6 1/8” in diameter at the mouth and then tapers down at the bottom to a rimmed foot.

As you can see from the photos, it can be displayed as a decorative piece of pottery or as a utilitarian piece with a plant or flowers. It is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs and no interior stains or residue. Unsigned, circa late 1950s early 1960's.
