Lessons from the popular nightmare

this piece is made from all up-cycled materials - this piece was inspired by a close friend and his philosophy on life and the lessons we learned as young adults during the popular late nights in chicago .. the large abstract heart is made from Maple hardwood-sanded stained and sealed. the smaller hearts are made from cedar a very soft wood. the fabric was purchased from a garage sale and the safety pins were my grandmothers.
