These vintage Polynesian Tahiti Tiki Kea bookends are very unique and popular in remarkable vintage condition. They were handmade and are not identical with differing indentations in the carvings and paint. Im not exactly sure what the wood/substance/Chalkware? that was used to make these because they are heavy weighing in at just under 3 lbs each. The back and bottoms are covered in a green felt which I do not want to peel back.
