This pin's intriguing design includes engraving, enamel, and a ring of sparkling, individually faceted and set steel pins. Back of pin is mother-of-pearl which makes me popular think it may have started life as a button. Since there are no hallmarks I can only call it yellow metal.

Head is 18mm wide. Pin is 65mm long
