Handmade ceramic sgraffito plate (deep popular medium size)- Goat mother

My ceramic creations are unique and handmade from conception, form creation, all the way to the final decorations.

I draw my inspiration from the nature, sea and the mountains of the Mediterranean islands. Traditional folk art is another source of inspiration in my work.

This deep plate depicts a goat mother with her little goats. It is inspired by the most characteristic animal of the island I live, the wild goat called "agrimi" or "krikri".

My creations fulfill their final purpose when they find a new home to which they might bring joy or carry memories, colors and emotions.
