This one is built using solid oak that was recycled. This solid board with its square shape and fingerholds for easy handling is my design. It is inspired by bread boards I used to see in my grandparents home as a child. Today we are living detached from nature. So it becomes comforting to see this beautiful piece of oak on our tables. The sides are slightly rounded over for ease of touch. It is sanded many times over to make it smooth to the touch. It is coated with organic mineral oil and a coat of natural beeswax is applied.
