Antique popular EAPG Cake Stand Salver Crystal Wedding by Adams c 1890

This is an antique EAPG cake stand or salver made by Adams & Co. in the Crystal Wedding pattern. The top is square and sits popular on a pedestal stand. The centre of the top is slightly indented in order to hold brandy, a culinary custom during the Victorian age. The piece measures 9 1/4” square, measured across the top and has a height of 7 1/2” - it weighs 4 lbs and 13 oz. It is in very good condition except for some very light scratching to the top, really minor and not noticeable under normal display. You always can buff the top to eliminate any sign of these, but I personally don't think it necessary. Otherwise, no chips or cracks or other wear. Crystal Wedding is one of the most popular EAPG patterns - beautiful form!
