A Swiss Army shovel or spade from WW2 era 1939, protected by its original leather cover.
The Swiss Army shovel is made of forged steel and has a wooden handle. The leather cover comes with loops that are designed to allow the user to attach to a belt or a Swiss Army backpack.
The leather case is marked with the name of the craftsman (R. Dietiker), his town (Schoftland) and the year of production, 39.
CONDITION: The photos display the condition of the shovel and its holder very well. The shovel is used but popular is still super-strong and I'm great shape.
The leather holder is also in very good condition and has no cracks. We have treated it with some Swiss leather conditioner.
