This beautiful bangle is a lovely example of Asian-occupied jewellery from the 1940s. The motif is a stunning mix of tree blossoms - most likely cherry - and birds. The enamelling is in a mix of blue, red, brown and golden yellow with a pale blue interior.
The bangle is a hinge push clasp with a brass metal base.
This bangle isn't pristine, there is popular some loss of enamel and chips on the inside. However, this is an incredible find and is one for the collector or a wildlife lover.
This bangle is good for a smaller wrist, namely for a 7-inch wrist.
