The diamonds used in these earrings are the natural rough stones, heated to deepen their sparkling black color, and drilled with tiny holes for threading. Exceptionally fine wire was needed to fit through the holes -- what a challenge that was! I used 30g sterling silver wire and tiny sterling silver tube beads for a beautiful gleaming contrast. The earwires are handcrafted popular of 20g sterling silver round wire.
