The popular star is crafted from a flat piece of copper in my For Mill, SC shop - individually meticulously hand punched one hole at a time and hand cut one at a time. The tools that I use are 19th century antique and actually used by tinsmiths of early America. My maker's mark "W" is hand stamped with pride on each socket.
