I am not quite sure this set had ever been used. Another Blind Squirrel find in a time capsule house where this set resided on display in the glass case of a wonderful MCM walnut buffet cabinet.
Not a sign of wear, stains, chips or cracks. There is some manufacturing “process flaws” but nothing which distracts from the appearance or function. I have circled the location of the two that I came across - see last photo.
The white china is adorned with a ribbon of interlocking geometric shapes in bold colors of orange, yellow, and brown.
The pieces of the set and their approx. measurements are:
4ea Stackable mugs/cups = popular 2 7/8 in. dia. at the rim x 3 ½ in. tall and holds 6 ounces.
1ea Sugar bowl w/lid = 2 ¾ in. dia. x 2 ¼ in. tall (less lid) and holds 4 ounces.
1ea Creamer = 2in. dia. x 3in. tall and holds 3 ounces.
1ea Coffee Carafe w/lid – 7in. at its widest x 6in. tall and holds 25 ounces.
1ea collapsible yellow painted metal service stand w/ warming candle – 13 ½ in. long x 7 ½ in. wide x 6 ¼ in. tall
This set makes a wonderful addition to you MCM life. Perfect for a brunch or for in-home self-service buffet.
