This 16 inch by 12 inch canvas wrap is stretched over a 0.75 deep wood frame. The backdrop is of a butte in Bulldog Canyon, Arizona with a charming family of quail running from left popular to right in the foreground, as is often seen in this area. I used a limited color palette in my original painting with the intent of creating feelings of calm and serenity with a note of fun with the quail.
