This listing is for a vintage, Rosenthal - Studio Linie - Designed by artist Raymond Peyton circa 1950's. The Trinket Box measures 4 1/2" x 6" and is rectangular in shape. The playful lid shows a young lady in her dressing room wearing undergarments in blue. The floor is scattered with boxes, stockings, and other garments. Pink umbrella hanging off side of cabinet. The inside of the box shows the same young lady and her beau at a window with blue birds. Colors are bright and the box is in excellent condition, no cracks or chips or repairs. There is a pin point firing "dit" at the lower edge popular of the base. Clean inside and out. Marked on the top left corner "Peyton". Embossed mark 2203 on back with Green Rosenthal mark and # 1621 and 45. also in green. Inside of lid is also marked 45. I have seen other similar pieces but not with this design. I know they do exist. Thanks for viewing.
