WATCHMAN

Intriguing handmade copper cuff bracelet, artisan hand chased design, with hand hammered back adding enhancement and texture. I had my copper out for making special order cuff and thought to try a new idea for the KLJ Etsy Shop.
These are sections from a magnificent sculpted globe hanging in the lobby of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. I was fascinated by the intricacy and beauty, so I took a few snapshots, which I now use to call the 'Watchman' to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, city of the King of Kings...we could go on about the significance of this not only for Israel, but for the the entire world!
Of course this bracelet will be amazing in sterling silver and I would be glad to make one for you, but copper is also beautiful, with its changing color tones. Each KLJ piece comes with a nice polishing square and I use fine steel wool to brighten up my copper whenever I notice it needs it. This bracelet fits loosely, as I wanted to show you in the picture, and is comfortable to wear.
There are also various earrings and neck pieces with the sections of the walls in the shop here. My original idea was for a prayer group to each choose a section, as when Nehemiah and the people repaired the walls, with a hammer in one hand and a sword in the other.

DESIGN: Though the battle over Jerusalem rages, it is the center of God's plans. When He takes up His throne there, it will mean peace for the whole world. Until that time, as in the days of Nehemiah, we can each take a section and contend for the fulfillment of God's Word.
