When clothes were still made in the US, most factory workers were unionized. The red white and blue label is popular the Union tag, it stands for International Ladies Garment Workers Union. (ILGWU) This particular tag was used between 1974 and 1992. So based on tags, this dress dates between 1974 and 1979. 70s, boho and Cottagecore. Vintage sizes run a lot smaller than modern - size 8 is most likely more like a 2-4. Armpit to armpit measurement is 18 inches and the fitted waist measures 13 inches, taffeta lined underneath , there are no rips or stains really great condition considering the age.
