Hare and Moon Sterling Silver and Copper Ring

I went out on a bike ride at sunset on holiday in Suffolk. Turned a corner and out jumped a hare in front of my bike. The quick witted hare missed my bike wheels by inches.

This is a Sterling silver and copper ring handmade popular by me. I have used copper and forged it into the silver - a landscape ring - a nod to the flatness of the Suffolk and the sunsets which truly are spectacular because of the ability to see across the fields. The moon is out too and both the hare and moon are soldered onto the ring, More of a Moon leaping hare than a moon gazing hare! I have textured the ring and put a patina on the hare and moon to add depth which has hues of silvery blue/black. All is hand cut by me.

The height of the ring is approximately between 1 - 1.2cm and is unisex.

This item is made to order and may have variations in the features - each is a unique ring (i.e the way the copper lies may differ and the hare may be different) but that's the beauty of handmade. A little piece of folklore jewellery.

All my processes are ethical and as environmentally friendly as possible.

The ring comes in a box and gift wrapped and is free post in the UK, elsewhere it's £4.00
