Vintage French asparagus serving plates from the ceramic, or majolica, manufacture GIEN in the 1970s. They are deep rimmed plates and quite heavy. White is the perfect colour for serving asparagus, the green against the white is striking.

There is a little 'pool' to put the sauce in.

Condition is good without cracks or chips, although crazing maybe present as per its age.
