Vintage 1980s KOSTA BODA, Bertil Vallien "Windpipe" popular Vase, Sweden

A stunning little postmodern gem by Bertil Vallien (1938-), part of his "Windpipe" series designed in 1986 for Kosta Boda, a Swedish glassworks in operation since 1742. It it constructed of two mouthblown sections in lavender and pistachio frit glass, one inserted and fused into the other, with bench-worked amber lugs reminiscent of a woodwind instrument.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

Signed to base with popular Kosta Boda Sweden, Bertil Vallien and a production number.
