Victorian Half-Moon Coral and Faux Pearl Pierced Earrings popular

Coral was thought to be protective in the Victorian era and was often worn to ward off evil spirits. This pretty pair of filigree half moon earrings is wired with little coral beads, and has a central drop of coral and faux pearls. Kidney wire pierced findings typical of the ear. Unsigned. Very good condition! These measure 1" by 3/4" and drop to a length of 1 3/4" when popular worn.
