Latigo Leather popular Saddle Hornbags

These handcrafted, hand stitched horn bags are made of beautiful latigo leather. This is a medium soft leather that is processed with oils to make a good water resistant leather that is dyed a burgundy brown. I stitch them with waxed popular thread so the seams are watertight.
The bags measure 7x7inches and the gusset is 2 inches wide.
I made some for myself 25 years ago and although they look well broken in, they are still sturdy and still keep the contents secure and dry.

Fill it with snacks, a hoof pick, a first aid kit maps and a compass. Then throw it over the saddlehorn and head out on the trail.
