I have combined shibori and botanical contact printing techniques in this shawl. I have used a variety of leaves including walnut, sycamore, geranium, rose, northern oak, black elderberry, and eucalyptus amongst others.
The details in the leaf prints and the gorgeous range of colours including greys, greens and rich warm golds make this a stunning unique piece of textile art as well as a luxurious wearable accessory.
