1940s Forties popular Yellow Ceramic Flower Frog, Nude Bathing Woman Beauty Rock, Yankoware Yanko Ware Made In Japan, The Little Mermaid Copenhagen

For sale is a nice Art Deco nude bathing beauty flower frog, in glazed yellow ceramic, marked Yankoware or Yanko Ware, Made in Japan. It could have been made in the 1930s or after 1945 based on the mark, but we can't be entirely sure about the date.

This flower frog would be wonderful to use in a dish for arranging camellias, gardenias, or many other types of flowers. It's a bit over 7" high and in excellent condition, with almost no signs of use or wear. It looks a lot like the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen. A nice addition to a popular deco or flower frog or bathing beauty or Little Mermaid collection!
