I have created this hand-painted stained glass ornament using both coloured art glass, and recycled glass. The art glass has been hand-painted using the traditional tools, techniques and style of paint used by stained glass artists for hundreds of years, and is then made popular permanent by being fired at high temperatures in a kiln.
The top layer of recycled glass has been hand-engraved with a bike motif, and the 2 layers a soldered together.
The custom made sustainable hardwood stand has been stained and oiled, and is detachable.
The ornament is designed to be placed in a location where light will both fall onto it, but also come through from behind, for example adjacent to a window. This ensures that both the coloured glass and painting, and the engraved glass will both be seen to their advantage, complementing each other.
If ordered, your ornament will be carefully packaged in its own gift box and sent using a tracked method of delivery (48 hours in the UK). Please note delivery outside of the UK will take longer.
Please note all measurements are approximate, and apply to the ornament when placed on its stand.
