In order to keep the silk soft and delicate, the dyes are steamed at high temperature for an hour. This process binds the dye to the silk at the molecular level and prevents the color from fading and fading. To make sure the colors stay vibrant and last, I do a few test washes.
My scarves are easy to care for. I recommend washing them by hand with shampoo in cool water. Iron them with a damp, well-heated iron.
