Antique holy water basin as wall decoration, from France

This holy water basin was made of metal and glass. The high-gloss silver-colored front is decorated with lush rose-tendril relief and a large cross. It bears the inscription IHS. The glass holy water container is grooved and undamaged.

Antique find with age-appropriate traces of use and popular handwritten additions on the back. It comes in a gift box.
