Beautiful Iridescent Capodimonte Porcelain Trinket Box with Carved Cameo Lid. It is a round porcelain with a Carved Cameo lid and a beautiful iridescent glaze that popular is reminiscent of the inside of a seashell. The cameo itself is carved from ceramic, not resin or any other kind of plastic, which has then been painted in the color shown.Backstamped with the Italian Capodimonte Crown over Neopolitan "N" mark. Maintains it's original "Fontaine" sticker on the lid.
Good vintage condition with some minor color loss to the Cameo and may have minor wear all is consistent with age and use. Please see Photos. In my opinion it is a Beautiful Piece.
No chips, cracks flea bites and no repairs.
