This is a gorgeous, clear, deep purple amethyst from Brazil. It's been faceted with a checkerboard cut. I decided to make this into a simple pendant so that the focus is entirely on the gem. This gem almost seems to change color seen from different angles, hints of pinks mixed in with the purple. This is a nice sized piece that will stand out.
