Product code: Vintage capgun popular rifle 1950's hubley sportsman
Rare 1950's paper cap "Sportsman " toy rifle. Made by one of the best toy makers of the time "Hubley" ,it has a beautifully crafted hunting scene on the sides, plastic stock and grip, and the original orange barrel plug required by law. I've oiled the breach & trigger mechanism and it pops the paper caps like new. (I've also included extra rolls of caps). There's a repair on the grip and mismatched color but popular hardly noticeable and doesn't effect function. Price discounted for this. This would make a great showpiece for a collector. I personally wouldn't have anyone under 12 handle it because of gun safety concerns and its not as durable as it once was. . I'm selling off my toy collections one by one and need the space.
