This is a vintage 1978, unframed, signed, original oil painting depicting a deer in the winter snow. It is a small painting measuring 12 x 16 inches in size. It is very nicely executed by an unknown, talented popular artisan with the initials HJR. The colors used for this animal, woodland painting are ivory, browns and aqua/green tones. It is a detailed, close up painting of a deer in all his glory in a stance with his head held high as if he just heard a hunter.
