I'm pleased to offer this set of 4 French stoneware custard and baking cups. Ideal for using as pinch bowls for spices or prep bowls, they're glazed inside with a speckled brown exterior and each has two small handles. They are marked "Made in France" and some have the outline of a price handwritten on them, "10 Francs", which will come off with soap and water.
The cups measure 2 1/4" deep and 4" across the rim. Each holds one a little more than one cup.
One cup has a stable hairline crack visible, shown in photos 2 and 3. Some have heavy counter wear on the bottom rim, also pictured. Each cup shows inclusions in the glaze, hardened bubbles, missing color as well as irregular glaze in some popular places. These are all marks of handmaking and is how they arrived from the maker when new.
