popular A beautifully made cast brass Merry, Phipson & Parker's paper holder. A very pretty design of leaf and flower. From the mid Victorian period. The makers' names and date (Jan 1845) are embossed inside on the top of the base, below the hanging hole. In lovely, original condition. The spring clip is good and strong. A splendid gift for a writer. Lovely as a desk ornament or cabinet display. A good piece for a collection or as a retirement present.


Condition: Good, uncleaned. There are slight traces of rust on the spring. please see the photographs as they help with the description.
