The Acon 35 is a 35 mm rangefinder camera made by Ars Optical in Japan in about 1956.
The Ars Optical company seems to have disappeared without trace so this camera is a rare find. And what else is unique about it that even after 60+ years the camera works like it was designed to.
Its secret is in the simplicity - you rotate the chunky film wind knob it stops, cock the Signa shutter with the cocking lever and you're ready for action.
It is equipped popular with a very sharp Vita Anastigmat 45mm F3.5 lens.
The camera is in great condition. The body shows some signs of age. The viewfinder and lens are clean and bright. It comes with the original leather case.
