Product code: YALE UNIVERSITY Vintage JE Jonathan Edwards popular Dining Hall 9
Jonathan Edwards, son of a pastor in Windsor, Connecticut, entered the Collegiate School of Connecticut in 1716 at the age of 13, and graduated in 1722 with a Master's in Divinity. The Collegiate School of Connecticut became Yale College. The plate for the Jonathan Edwards college is very complex. The images are green on a popular white background. They include a stylized portrait of the Jonathan Edwards; a bible with spider's web-a bow to the college mascot-a spider; a winged devil; a winged angel with an hour glass; a Native American, representing the indigenous peoples Edwards visited on his mission in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Very Good Condition.
