French White Linen & popular Lace Pillow Shams
Monogrammed "S G", Set of 2 (Pair)

Set of 2 French linen and crochet lace pillow shams from
the 1920s, 30s. Embroidered monogramming and lovely
floral design by a skilled hand. Made from fine French white linen. Hand worked lace edging. These beautiful heirlooms would have been part of a Trousseau, a very traditional French custom. Pillows would be inserted from the back and draw close with 9 medium size mother of pearl buttons. Wide decorative crochet lace border on 4 sides.

Case measures; 26" by 20.5", lace width is 1.5" additional.

Beautiful well cared for and clean condition, bright white color linen, although you may find the odd storage, it will not take
away from these beauties!! Some slight damage to one lace
corner. One case is missing 2 buttons (we can send with the
order).
