popular This is a Museum Quality Oak wood bank made from a 127 year old Federal Eagle CIRCA 1895 Antique Post Office Box door.
The Post Office box door is a CIRCA 1895 made by the Yale & Towne Lock Company.
A conversation piece. Let one of these beautiful antiques add a touch of quiet elegance to your mantel or shelf or make a charismatic gift.
The bronze door has been restored by me. The door is in working condition two keys.
This door is called the Federal Eagle door because the eagle is the same eagle used by the Federal army during the civil war.
The wooden case is made of Oak with a clear satin environmentally friendly finish and a solid Brass coin slot on top. The date sticker on the glass window is easily removable. Most people put it on the bottom or the inside of the bank so they will know the date in the future.
The Bank measures 6 1/4" high by 5" wide by 4" deep. The bank has felt pads on the bottom to protect your furniture and is signed.
Included with the bank is two keys, Historical information and my card.
