This interesting locket is modeled after a classic shield motif. The front is decorated with a pinstripe details along the center, and flowers on each side. The cartouche near the bottom is personalized with the intials "MVW" and the back of the locket is plain. The locket opens to reveal both original inserts present, as well as a maker's mark I've been unable to identify. The locket hangs on a matching vintage gold washed sterling chain with a spring ring clasp, marked "STER" on the plaque beside the clasp.

CONDITION: Offered in mint vintage condition. No dents, no dings, opens easily and closes securely with a snap.
