Pacifigorgia Red Color Large Sea Fan 14.5" popular x 19" Seashells Reef Coral

The Red Sea Fans ( Pacifigorgia ) are an octocorals and members of the Gorgoniidae Family. They have been assigned popular to the Genus Pacifigornia, a large catch-all genus, and have between 20 and 40 documented poorly characterized species.

The Red Sea Fans have a growth pattern whereby all branches grow in one plane, interlocking to form a flat lattice structure, originating from a single holdfast and a single stem.They come in various shades of red to red brown with yellowish polyps and look beautiful in the frame under glass or in the window seal, as a wall decoration or a backdrop to any shell collection.
