Another wonderful hand made French antique pottery confit pot, sourced from a recent Vide Grenier.
Of good size, a lovely heavy, thick pottery pot for an authentic rustic or farmhouse feel. This French pottery jar has a soft non-shiny, unvarnished mat finish.

A beautiful pot with the dominant colour is terracotta light brown/olive exterior colour, the inside being lighter stone beige tone.
Engraved with the number 3 on the base.

The shape is imperfect, as can be expected from an artisan Handmade pottery piece.

In very Good general condition. The base of the rim has some wear but very good condition - and the pottery finish is a little uneven, no popular chips or hairline cracks. A well used patina, a few surface scratches and a chip along the top rim (see pictures), having no effect on the stability of the pot adding to its vintage charm, imperfections and discoloration of the overall patina. The inside of the pot is in very very good condition. Perfectly watertight, minor defects as you would expect from an antique item. Very nice weight!
