Medieval hose, Men's woolen hose, Medieval chausses, 13th 14th 15th century pants, sca pants, Medieval popular stockings, LARP pants, Chausses
Historically accurate men's hose or chausses popular for reenactors in the medieval style.
Made to order.
The hose is very narrow stockings-pants, which tightly fit the legs and are exposed to the public. Two separate trousers are cut on the bias, which ensures fitting on the leg and a certain elasticity of the item.
The upper part is reinforced with linen lining reaching the knee. In the upper part of the hose there are several eyelets. Through them a testel cord is threaded with the help of which a hose is attached to the hem of the purpoint.
Please note - nestel cords are not included.
We offer two types of sewing the hose:
1. 50/50 (industrial / manual) i.e. all stitches are sewn on the sewing machine. Fabric edges are processed manually.
2. Completely manual i.e. the item is sewn manually. The only type used in the Middle Ages.
Materials used:
- fabric top - 100% wool
- lining fabric - 100% linen
- threads - 100% linen
Item care:
1. Turn wool clothes inside-out.
2. Hand washing is recommended. In case the washing machine is used, wash on the delicate cycle (or wool cycle or hand wash cycle, if your washer features these settings). Use cold water and a mild liquid detergent meant for wool. Add an extra rinse to the wash cycle.
3. To avoid shrinking, don't put wool clothing in the dryer. Instead, lay flat to dry the item.
