Antique Art Nouveau Silver Gold Gilt Sugar Sifter– popular Sweden 1870

For sale is a rare silver pierced sugar sifter with gold gilt on the inside of the bowl from the Art Nouveau period. This lovely item was manufactured in Karlsbad, Sweden by the renowned silversmith Bernt Erlandsson in .830 solid silver. It has a full popular set of very crisp and clear hallmarks with the manufacturer mark, three crown mark and a date mark of 1870. There is a small pair of initials on the reverse of the handle but these could easily be polished out. There are also two gouges on the reverse handle, as shown.
