Bavarian Porcelain Pitcher popular Hand Painted Water Lilies with Green and Black Background and Black Beaded Handle Gold Painted Rim

This is a hand painted Bavarian porcelain pitcher, used as a lemonade or cider jug in the era in which it was made. The artist painted a scene of beautiful white water lilies floating in a soft green pond, with a black night sky above. The handle is an offset D shape set with raised porcelain "beads", also in black. It is truly a 3D work of art. You can certainly use it as a jug/pitcher or as a vase, but it is absolutely stunning all on its own.

The Pitcher is a substantial size at 6 1/2 inches tall, 5 inches in diameter, with a 10 cup capacity.

CONDITION: This beautiful picture is an excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazy, or stains. The hand painted water lily design shows no wear and very little wear to the gold trim on the rim.
