Silver Agadez cross, Niger- West Africa.
Agadez fifth largest city in Niger also capital of Agadez Region which lies in the Sahara desert.
Every Tuareg cross represents city/ region from where it originated within Niger.
Handmade in second half of XXth century using lost wax casting method. Geometrical hand engravings are decorating the cross on both sides.
Tuaregs are well known for their outstanding skills in jewelry making. Made from high grade silver.
This cross was worn by Tuareg.
