Antique Exquisite Little French Enameled Gilt Metal Ormolu Beveled Glass popular Jewelry Casket

This exquisite little footed gilt metal ormolu beveled glass footed box from a fabulous midwest estate is approx. 2 1/2" by 1 3/8" by 1 5/8" tall and is in gently used condition with some wear to the gilt finish of the metal as shown. The original glass on the lid is intact with no chips or cracks. The bottom is made of paper. May or may not be original. Dates to the late 1800s and likely of French origin. The beautiful colorful enameled design is on the popular front and the back as shown. Please view all of the attached photos for an accurate representation.
