On popular the Frontier by Auden and Isherwood - First edition with rare ephemera

The ephemera included is a contemporary pamphlet advertising the Group Theatre - there is a copy in the British Library - https://www.bl.uk/collection-items/pamphlet-advertising-the-group-theatre There is also a newspaper clipping that reviews the first performance of the play On the Frontier.

Very nice copy with sunned dust jacket spine and two x 1cm tears - photo of one at foot of front cover is popular last of the photos.

The book itself is unread, we can tell this because the uncut pages remain uncut.

On the front endpaper there are two foxing marks and a tear at the top - see photo.

All in all a nice set of documents that capture the mood at the cusp of the Second World War.
